“Air Pollution is turning mother nature prematurely gray” -Irv Kupcinet
Air pollutants are dispersed to long distances with air flow. Air dispersion models help in describing the behaviour of pollutants in the air and estimates downwind concentration of pollutants emitted in environment.
We at EMERGY use air dispersion models (AERMOD and ISCST3) to predict spatial variation of pollutants based on source emissions, meteorological field and site parameters (land use, terrain features etc.) for a particular region. These models assist in validation real time air quality monitoring and assessment of impact of various pollutants on receptors.
