"It is hardly surprising that the malodorous field of garbology has not attained the popularity of rocket science, oil exploration." Hans Y. Tammemagi
Safe and sustainable management of biomedical waste is not only a legal necessity but also a social responsibility. Inadequate and inappropriate knowledge of handling biomedical waste may have serious health consequences as well as trigger environmental hazards (contamination of soil, ground water). For safe management of biomedical waste, waste handlers should have adequate understanding on handling and disposal practices of the waste. We at EMERGY organize comprehensive training sessions for waste generators and handlers to make them proficient to ensure efficient segregation, collection, handling, and safe disposal of biomedical waste.
